Tender Surprise

We got our tender last Friday and got some surprises! 

Our variations came to about 100K so now we are trying to reduce that but it's really hard! 
Our additional site cost came provisional allowance is about 50k and we have no choice in that and wont know till we start building. We wanted some changes made to the tender and are now waiting to get another appointment to sign it.

After we sign we will be able to meet our CSO and get the external colour pack to choose external colours. We feel that we will want to upgrade the outside bricks which is not going to help reduce our cost! 

Hopefully we sign this week and get the colour pack so we can start choosing the external colours. 

Evidence of soil test

Today we are pretty sure we got our soil test done. We found a hole dug in the middle of our driveway on the grass area. 
We've been told we'll know our tender date by next week. Fingers crossed it all goes to plan.
They are already 3 weeks behind. Hopefully it picks up speed after this. 

Still waiting..

3 weeks after paying for tender and we are still yet to have the surveyor and soil test done!

With all this time we have been waiting we keep making changes consistently. We have decided to go for the majestic façade.

We keep wanting to add more upgraded items as we don't know the prices of any to get rid of them.
