Rain rain go away

All of last week it has been raining so no work has been done. The external plumbing was supposed to be done on Thursday and Friday and then frames were supposed to start on Monday. But due to the weather nothing was done last week! 


The external plumbing has hopefully been done today and the scaffold support and termite control will be done Wednesday.

The frames will not start till this Friday or next Monday :( but I’ve checked the weather reports and it seems like it’s going to rain from Wednesday onwards :( which means no frames till Monday... if we're lucky!

They've started!

This month everything has started.  Compared to the paper work the building process seems to be going pretty fast.. For now anyways
This month they've prepared the site, piers and lured the site. We've been lucky enough to have good weather during the work days so far.
On Friday  they are going to be external drainage, which hopefully occurs because the weather has been a bit wet the last few days.
Next week the frames are going to come in that will go for about a week. I can't wait to see the house go up. Seeing the concrete outline was exciting enough let alone getting a feel for the walls and rooms to start  appearing!
